Once
fully funded we aim to run courses for adults with learning difficulties
covering the following areas:
Garden maintenance
Environmental Conservation
Horticulture/veg growing
Services
We
would like to offer the following services in the future, subject to
attracting the required funding:
Landscape maintenance for commercial, community or residential sites
Gardening services for elderly and vulnerable people
School
visits
We hope
to offer opportunities for primary school visits to the Garden from
2010.
Sales
We hope
to sell woodwork and craft products, plants and surplus produce, once
the pavilion conversion has taken place.
Cafe/Kiosk
As a long term goal we
would love to set up a cafe/kiosk in the pavilion to serve park users on
afternoons and weekends, staffed by people with support needs.
