NEWS & EVENTS ... Next volunteer days at the Triangle Garden: 29 January

We are delighted to announce that we have just successfully registered Hitchin Community Gardens (the organistaion behind the Triangle Garden) as a Charity. You can check out our details on the Charity Commissions website. 'Growing Ability' is our social and therapeutic horticulture project for adults with learning difficulties, run at the Triangle Garden, in partnership with the Growing People Programme. The project aims to help participants ('gardeners') to improve the quality of their lives through horticulture and gardening, leading to improved self confidence, social and work skills, literacy and numeracy, stamina and fitness. Volunteers able to commit on a regular basis are very welcome. If you would like to find out more about what we do, come to one of our workshops, help as a volunteer or support the garden in any way, please email us. |
