Congratulations to everyone who completed our very first Permaculture Design Course -

Many thanks to brilliant tutor Hannah Thorogood, fellow students and the inspiring sustainability centres we visited.

The Triangle Garden is a community garden, created and cultivated by local people of all ages and abilities. It is part of a local park in Hitchin,  and is open all year round. Creative hands-on gardening based activities take place once a month on Sundays and are open to all in the local community. Children are welcome (accompanied by an adult).

'Growing Ability' is our new social and therapeutic horticulture project for adults with learning difficulties, run at the Triangle Garden, in partnership with the Growing People Programme. The project aims to help participants ('gardeners') to improve the quality of their lives through horticulture and gardening, leading to improved self confidence, social and work skills, literacy and numeracy, stamina and fitness. Volunteers able to commit on a regular basis are very welcome.

Triangle Garden Questionnaire - find out the results of our 2009 Open Day questionnaire We have used the results to plan new activities at the Garden including craft and food growing workshops. We are also bidding for funding to erect new noticeboards at Garden entrances, so more information is available on wildlife to look out for, future activities and how to join in.

If you would like to find out more about what we do, come to one of our workshops, help as a volunteer or support the garden in any way, please email us.
