(Volunteer activity days are usually held on the last Sunday of every month except those marked *.)

Friday wind-down sessions: Every Friday April-October from 4.30-6pm - social/gardening session at the Triangle Garden - all welcome. Occasionally these sessions may not happen due to other commitments - where possible we will give advance notice of this on the home page, so do check if unsure. First session of 2011: 6th May.

Just turn up at any of these sessions and lend a hand - children are welcome, accompanied by an adult.

We will provide hot or cold drinks (depending on the weather) and a snack. Bad weather may occasionally force postponement or cancellation of an activity session - where possible we will post a notice on the homepage advising of this in the half hour prior to the proposed start time.

More on what to  expect and what to bring here

Although our learning disabled gardeners do a great job in helping to keep the garden looking good, we still need your help with the more intricate tasks like weeding between established plants in hard to reach areas. There'll always be someone on hand to give guidance as to what to chop back and what to nurture if you're uncertain, and you'll soon get to recognise the undesirables. Tools are provided but we ask that you bring your own gloves if you can to ensure they are a good fit for safe working. We do have some spare pairs just in case.

Most importantly bring your enthusiasm!
