We are very proud of our highly capable and committed team of staff and volunteers, who carry out the Triangle Garden’s work both behind the scenes and in day-to-day running of our projects.

We currently have two vacancies:

Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Triangle Community Garden as a Project Manager. In this role you will be managing and developing all aspects of our greencare projects; supporting our staff and volunteers; and working with our Outreach Coordinator to ensure our services reach as many people as feasible.

Triangle Community Garden runs horticultural therapy sessions in our allotment sites and community garden in Hitchin working with people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues.

Ideally you’ll have some knowledge or experience of social therapeutic horticulture and working with people with additional needs. You’ll need to have experience of managing people and projects and it would be beneficial if you had experience of developing services and networks with other local organisations.​

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check.

1:1 Horticultural Support Worker (bank role)

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Triangle Community Garden as a 1:1 support worker. In this role you will be supporting one of our Growing Ability ‘gardeners’ (clients with additional needs) to access our activities in a meaningful and person-centred way.

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check.

· Salary: c £12/hr (Bank role – subject to gardener attendance)

· Hours: 5.5 hours a week – Tuesdays 9.30-12.15pm, Thursdays 12.30-3.15pm
