Volunteering |
| |
We
could not do what we do without volunteers. These are people who believe
in what we’re doing and want to help, people who discover how much they
enjoy working outdoors and being part of something positive. Could you
be one of them? Come to our volunteer meeting on 9th June and find out
more. |

There
are many ways you can help: |

'Growing Ability' as a regular volunteer*
-
Delivering flyers /
Putting up posters
-
e-publicity person -
uploading stuff on websites and social networks
-
Taking on a role such as
taking Pavilion bookings, taking workshops bookings or taking
minutes at meetings
-
Helping at events - baking cakes, manning stalls, etc
-
Becoming a core group member/trustee*
-
Giving us some expert
advice eg charity law, human resources, PR, etc
|

| |
*If
you would like be a trustee or to help support 'Growing Ability' on a regular basis, you
will need to have a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. This is to make
sure that the vulnerable people we work with are in safe
hands. We will guide you through the form and pay for the process.
