  Volunteering

We could not do what we do without volunteers. These are people who believe in what we’re doing and want to help, people who discover how much they enjoy working outdoors and being part of something positive. Could you be one of them?

There are many ways you can help:

  • Helping at our community gardening sessions
  • Helping to support 'Growing Ability' as a regular volunteer*
  • Delivering flyers
  • Putting up posters
  • Helping at events - baking cakes, manning stalls, etc
  • Becoming a core group member
  • Giving us some expert advice eg charity law, permaculture, etc

*If you would like to help support 'Growing Ability' on a regular basis, you will need to have a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. This is to make sure that the vulnerable people we work with are in safe hands. We will guide you through the form and pay for the process.
