Wildflowers

 

The pictures below show some of the wildflowers and plants that you will find at the Triangle Garden and in the wetland meadow in the Rec.

 

You can print out this plant list next time you visit and see how many plants you can find. Take a wildflower guide with you and remember that plants will look different depending on the season – many wildflowers will be easier to identify in spring and summer when they’re in flower, and there are some things you will only find in certain seasons: for example catkins in spring or rosehips in autumn.

 

And don’t forget - never pick wildflowers, however pretty they are. If you pick them they can't set seed for next year, and that may be the last you see of them...
